In 1990 Medipass began providing MRI services, then expanded to support hospitals in the process of technological innovation, particularly in the sectors of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy for cancer treatment.
In 2016 Medipass manages a broad spectrum of hospital technology parks and radiology, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy departments, with over 9,400 machines in use, of which 170 are high-tech devices including linear accelerators (LINAC), PET-CT and Spect-CT scanners, radiopharmacy units with cyclotrons, angiography units and hybrid operating rooms. Medipass manages 37 hospital departments, supervising each from the planning stage, to the installation of equipment, to the integration of the hospital in the clinical management of the facility.
With 400 employees and contractors, it operates in Italy, the UK and India.
Medipass Healthcare Ltd (www.medipasshealthcare.com), was founded in London in 2011. It manages the technology within two of the most important NHS Cancer Health Care Centres in the UK: Belfast City Hospital (10 linacs) and the St. James Institute of Oncology in Leeds (12 linacs).
ClearMedi (www.clearmedi.com), founded in New Delhi in 2011, already operates more than 15 Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging departments in private hospitals across India.
From 2020 it becomes a company sold to KOS Group.
In the last year, Medipass helped delivery over 700,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
